I believe that too, but I question his resolve. When push comes to shove, he'll have to make some decisions that even Biden warned will be "unpopular." And I think with the deeply-entrenched politics in Washington these days, push may come to shove more often than even Obama could handle.

To his credit, Obama has shown a steady hand under pressure, as many in the media have pointed out. But to be honest, I don't think it really has been that tough for Obama. Except when he took on Hillary. That was quite an accomplishment.


No one can be sure what the future holds...i put my best bet on Obama on the basis of what I have seen so far. He's a smart man, deeply pragmatic, well educated, measured..as a black man coming from very humble origins, his accomplishments are impressive. Measured on the basis of his altruism, his heart is strong. This is a man who could have written his own check with the country's most powerful law firms...instead he chose to serve his community. I am sold.
