World Series games take so long because of the damn television commercials. I understand someone has to pay the freight, but when the commercial breaks last as long as a 123 inning that's TOO long. Bad enough television viewers have to put up with it... I was at a world series game some years back and it was horrible... the commercial breaks interfered with the rhythm of the game.
