Sorry for the possibly ignorant question, but why would ASND sell out at 48 We'd be VERY lucky to get 48 for our shares right now. That would be a pretty rich valuation. when it was recently near 80 and in all likelihood will return to that vicinity in the next year or so? VERY wishful thinking. You'll be fortunate to see your 48 dollar figure in a years time much less 80. Sorry but $80 in a year is a pipedream. Are the fundamentals so changed now from when it traded at 80? YES!!

I read the takeover price to sales figures posted earlier and 48 may be consistent with those numbers, but CSCO has fully recovered and COMS has recovered 50% towards their highs while ASND is near a two year low. Seems to me that ASND will fetch more than 48. Sunfish, No such thing as an ignorant question. I will answer this question with my opinion when I can make time> I cannot make time today:-( Glenn
