[ IMAT ]

Thanks Ray, I was thinking the same thing re non-comfirmation of the evening star but felt the trend had changed to negative although it seems to be holding steady around 3 1/4.

If I understand you correctly, this downtrend may be short lived or the Candles can only predict short term trends, whereas the Technicals are still positive as they have materialized over a longer period and may still be influence by the move on 10/13. I'll watch it carefully and if the trend doesn't change soon I'll move on. Heck, I can use an offsetting write-off !

Thanks, NEPF

[ Candles ] Hi Ray,

Sorry to interrupt, but I would like to make a clarification in terminology for a particular candle formation....

"...10/17 .. Hirami Formation.."

The correct term is "Harami," and in Japanese, it refers to the mother bearing the child in the womb(i.e. pregnant)."Hara" is Japanese for stomach, but it's interesting that the chinese character they use for the verb "Haramu"(where Harami is derived) is completely different. Just thought I'd pass a little wisdom from my education from Japan(1 year exchange program in Tokyo).

Regards,

Rainier
