No experience - nobody really cares about financial crisis here. Gas prices go down, food prices will probably, too, housing costs go down, wages go up, trade balance is still good, unemployment is still at record low and not increasing. Our main problem right now, is that unemployment is too low, and that the government taxes too much.

However, the government has not found a reason to lower the taxes, yet - so money is still flooding from citizens to the state, and there is no sign of change for that. Extra spending would create inflation, which would be a problem for our euro-dkk exchange rate, so that's not an option. Anyway, we have just come out of a lengthy debt-crisis, bigger than what the international crisis could do to us, so we don't see this as a huge problem.

Some people try to dramatize things, and some retirement funds have been hit, but retirement funds are not as important in this country, as elsewhere.

Oh - and we're discussing how to help out Iceland.

But nobody is interested in Gold. I haven't seen anything about trading Gold in any Danish forum or newspaper article - it's a non-issue. I did see a lot of discussion about Gold in other countries - but mostly in American forums.
