After a few minutes, someone asked the bartender to turn up the sound, which he did.
And then the place got quiet. This is a bar-full of crazy Philly phans, chomping at the bit for the ball game to start. And the place got quiet to listen to "the ad". People were actually listening and watching.
When it was done, people applauded. Yes. Applauded a political ad.

I was late getting home last nite......I hadn't eaten yet. I was going to watch a few minutes of the ad while my food cooked and then turn it off. Instead, I was compelled to sit through the entire thing......I have never seen a politician get so clearly what people are going through. I thought last nite's infomentary would be a turn off to the voter........I was wrong.

Oh yeah, I'm not surprised at the reaction of the Philly bar. If you are open to Obama's message, then their reaction is a pretty normal one.
