Style,

I concur with your post. It certainly has been helpful to have so much information and analysis to work with.

A tea leaf to add here: At the 10/9 conference call, Ejabat indicated that a new CFO would be on board within days. Well, the cc was on 10/9 and here we are, getting on 2 weeks later, and no news. The only new employee I've seen reference to is David Masunis, the guy with the M&A background (albeit in the context of acquisitions, something that cannot be discounted given ASND's history.)

If ASND expected to be taken out within some reasonable timeframe, it would not and, essentially, could not hire a new CFO. Who in his/her right mind would sign on as CFO, knowing that the job soon would be eliminated? (I've worked with CFOs of companies that got bought out...now there is a position that you don't duplicate...the lower CFO goes job hunting, plain and simple.)

This could very well be the typical dragging on of a search process. But, on the other hand, when did ASND lose its CFO? Hasn't it been some time now? (Any information on this would help.) Also, if Wall Street Whispers is correct (dubious), a bond deal was cancelled. There certainly is some indication here that things are being put on hold.
