Snowshoe; Answer: Because the current economics probably don't support the project, no matter who builds it!!! But that doesn't square with the arguments by Palin and McCain attempting to scare the public on the socialism of Obama. It is a very valid point to question the escalation of hate by those trying to use socialism as a wedge issue - all they while they are escalating their own version of socialism. It is especially disingenuous of Palin to pass out checks to the Alaskan collective at the same time she beats the socialism drum. Either she doesn't understand what socialism is or she is dishonest in her argument. steve
