Yup! What a shame too. BTW, it was during the 2004 election cycle that it became clear to me that Snopes.com leaned left on political issues. They often mangled the truth when it came to facts favorable to conservatives or unfavorable to libs. They were clever & careful in how they did it, but they consistently mangled the truth in those same directions often enough to show their hand to me. Two things really burned my butt about Snopes. One was how often they cited lies that originated from libs as credible facts to support or debunk the issue at hand. The other was they frequently ignored serious exculpatory evidence that ran counter to their conclusions.
