Thanks for posting the article by Cohen. <b.I thought this article might resonate with you. It resonates with me.

Two things come to my mind. The book "Hot, Flat and Crowded" by Tom Friedman and the little movie "Pieces of April' available on DVD.

Friedman, an intrepid world traveler, makes it clear what this country must do to achieve energy independence and the positive international ramifications if we do.

The little movie shows how in New York a miracle of civility can emerge from the struggles and fatigue of people drawn from different ethnic, religious and economic strata.

Obama encourages me to believe that all is not lost in America.

But Americans seem to be trusting what their eyes tell them: temperament trumps experience and every instinct of this man, whose very identity represents an act of reconciliation, hones toward building change from the center.
