Yousef <I agree this is very "fishy" ... > I can certainly see why DEC would want this deal to go through. They have a fab that is getting long in the tooth and where is the ROI in upgrading it? Their Intel based business is growing much faster than their Alpha business and their Alpha customers now know the Alpha is in lame duck status (my apologies to those who aren't familiar with American political terms). But is Intel so anxious to put this behind then that they would go into this kind of a deal? I don't think so. I think that if a deal is struck, it will be significantly different from the rumors we have been reading. EP PS I hope Albert will have LOTS of that cheap coffee if he wheels Fuchi anywhere near those stairs....
