McCain lost the election the day he capitulated to this massive giveaway of public funds.

Could you imagine the support he'd have today if he'd opposed it?


If he's smart, he'll use the opportunity. Shareholders and bondholders of companies that bankrupted themselves ought to be more than happy that their stock and bond holdings are not worth ZERO. Forget dividends.

I blame it on Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, not McCain. They knew full well what was in the package.

My Congresswoman voted against the bailout. Perhaps I will vote for her for President next time.
