tim, this boils down to simple supply and demand. it is continuously reflected in current dram pricing.

some are so interested in justifying poor decisions, or lack thereof, that they miss the obvious. going to 64 mb will only quadruple bit supply, all else being equal.

so, you have ne supply coming on line.

current supply is switching to 64 mb and will increase their output by 200-300%.

and this is good for poor pricing.

oh, throw in the fact that only $1000 pcs are selling and if dram goes up then $1000 pcs won't be available and END DEMAND WILL DROP LIKE A ROCK.
