Well, consideration for labour and environment standards MUST be written into trade agreements. Without that, we've seen that the lowest common denominator on those issues gets the manufacturing base. We've seen that greedy companies have packed up their shops and moved to countries with favorable regulations. It's only natural that they'd do that. I don't entirely buy the productivity argument.
