The 250 and 200 numbers are for two people, not one.
That's 125 and 100 each.


This is unclear.

It started out as 250K for married couples and 200K for single filers.

Then, it morphed into more-or-less arbitrary statements of 200K sometimes and 250K at others. Then, Biden let loose with 150K, followed by Obama's 200K last night.

It hardly matters. There will be no tax cuts for anyone, and in fact, we're going to see tax increases on everyone except those on the Earned Income Credit welfare program.

He'll propose whatever he thinks he can get away with, Pelosi, Reid and Rangel will "fix it". And we'll all get screwed in the process.

Only very rarely has a president ever affected tax policy in a substantial way.
