Cash was always hard to find. I used to look under seat cushions but less and less is falling out of pockets these days. Telephones have fewer coins in the return slots, and there are fewer telephones. Down at the beach the other day and the metal detector was pulling 3 slugs to every nickel. There have been five stages of money availability in this last year. They are: 1. Before August 2007 -- difficult. 2. After August 2007 to July 2008 -- rare. 3. After July 2008 -- very difficult. 4. After September 2008 -- impossible. 5. October 2008 -- laughable.
