Well if you believe geode00, all that pork is just "the cost of living in society", and if you don't want to pay you just just deliberately make yourself poor. about how much Obama MIGHT SPEND is a real howler The Republicans (including Bush) should get slammed for their pork and all the excessive but not officially pork spending, as should the Democrats, who push spending, created programs that account for a majority of our spending, and when Bush increased spending (at least when he increased it on anything other than defense) they nearly always claimed it was not enough, that he was underfunding programs as he tossed huge amounts of money to them. When Obama uses rhetoric that suggests, and directly calls for programs that would entail, spending a lot more money than was spent even under Bush, its hardly a howler to call him out on this fact.
