Most polling organizations announce openly when they change their internals. It seems Fox is having a hard time today making that point...maybe Brit Hume will do it sometime before he closes out today.

And, you know, there are more democrats than republicans now, and as party affiliation clarifies, some rebalancing makes sense in all polls.

Why would Fox reduce the number of democrats and increase the republican sample (and the leaners) six days before the elections? There don't appear to be any decrease in democrats or increase in republicans to justify the rebalancing now.

Or are they just creating a horse race in the minds of their susceptible viewers?

If you change the rules, you can't keep score the same way....
