Yes. The more we move towards a tax structure that benefits the wealthy and an economy the primarily benefits the wealthy and doesn't create opportunities for class movement, the closer we get to a plutocracy. The best metric for guarding against this include the rich to poor earnings power ratio, as well as the rich to poor wealth gap. Those have both accelerated to unprecedented levels during the Bush Jr years. So I'm glad under Obama that we're going to reverse that trend. It's healthy for our Democracy to return to the 1990's, where wealth was something that EVERYONE could aspire to.
