Reagan didn't do more than Clinton, but he sure knew how to govern better than Dumbya I'll give you that. Part of the problem the republicans have is that the kind of people running the Reagan admin are now not wanted in the party and considered too moderate. Hamilton Baker and people like that were IGNORED by Bush. The democratic party now houses both parties views prior to this decade, and virtually all moderates except a few outliers like Arlen spector.
