I think history shows when a "people" are in dire circumstances, a war seems to be the solution for the current government to stay in power, by whipping up hatred, shirking responsibility. How else does Hamas, Hezbollah, Castro, Chavez, Arafat, etc stay in power? Or for that matter, how else does democrats get 90% of the black vote, even though democrats is the party only interested in keeping the poor in their place to maintain their power and as the "hope" of the future?
