LOL; if the gvt didn't take it, it would go right in their pockets, not to mine. They ain't gonna give me a dime out of the goodness of their hearts. They, with few exceptions, never have.

"Well maybe you had much lower taxes." Yeah, on lower take home. I limited out those years; 20.5K. In '06, I was contributing 50% (60% for the last 2 PP), called mice elf off, took no on-call pay, and used a solar credit, and paid nothing in taxes. It was your war that year. But it also didn't leave me much cash for steaks & fine wine. Or even dawg food. But well worth it.
