I think that is a contradiction. There are no "newborns" before the cord is cut.

Why should I care about your theological opinions?

Because that is 10000 years of doctrine. It is only in the last few decades that the heretical view has been pushed.

Certain churches were in the business of selling babies born from young white mothers who didn't want them. Their supply of babies has been restricted by abortion and they have been convincing gullible followers to support their efforts to increase the supply again. They don't care if those supporters risk hell by thinking the soul is just a chemical DNA combination.

No one is, theological or not..... But for people like you, with no skin in the game, the decision is easy and you like to make it for others who have responsibility.
