Whackjob is definitely better - the McCain insider may have been thinking her choice as VP takes a whack at common sense, the McCain candidacy itself and what little decorum still left in the political process. It's a whackjob on many levels, can't say I fault the man for blurting it out!

It also says the word is a combination of "whacky" and "job."

But if you look back at the use of the word "wacky" over the years, you'll find that it's only recently that the "H" has crept into it.

I think Wiki's wrong on this one. Or should I call it Whiki?
