Cramer mentioned on his show that pension funds have been told by the states (that is what I recall) to buy the futures according to his sources. To me that sounds more like an agenda rather than reallocating funds from bonds to stocks. What can it be? My hunch is pension statements for end of October would show too big of a shortfall...and these guys would be looking to the states for help....so they are told to load up on stock futures to show a high month end value. That would also explain why it is happening right up to the last day of the month.

That kind of agenda probably leads to selloffs afterwards. I noticed Doug Kass is selling his longs for this reason today.
