He's become the centerpiece of the McCain campaign, you think the media is going to take that at face value? EVERYBOBY wanted to know more about Joe the plumber... it's the medias job (and source of income) to satisfy that curiosity.Obama's relationship with Rezko and Ayers is only being covered by the MSM in the context of McCain's negative campaigning. I might as well just go straight to www.fightthesmears.com instead of watching the MSM echo the points made on that website. It's being covered much more than Keating. And it's blaring from Fox and talk radio 24/7. If there was survey of average people who do you think would get better name recognition, Ayres or Keating? John Edwards' affair was actively being spiked by the mainstream media, leaving only a tabloid newspaper to uncover the truth. Only when the truth was acknowledged by Edwards did the MSM cover the story, but they tried very hard to pretend that "there was no there there." So the guy had an affair, he doesn't even hold a public office. It was on 24/7 right after it was discovered. And it wasn't "actively spiked", the MSM didn't have any facts. Should people not vote for Obama because Edwards had an affair? Hoe about the rumors that McCain had an affair with the lobbyist? Is the press not doing it's job by not reporting that as fact?Back to Palin, there's a lot of nonsense over how she wasn't "vetted" and how the MSM is doing the job McCain's people supposedly didn't do. Of course, a Kenyan pastor giving an odd "witchcraft" prayer for Palin is considered "newsworthy" by the MSM. So is the whole "speaking in tongues" nonsense. "Witchcraft and talking in tongues"? Imagine if that was Obama! The media would go absolutely fuking nuts... especially the rabid right media. I listen to Rush lie all day long about Obama, from his policy to his personal life to calling him a communist to saying he will ask for slavery reparations to any damn thing he can think of to slander the guy. So listen... you can whine and blame CBS/NBC/ABC all you want for McCain losing. It's simply not the case. The Republican talk radio attack machine is so much more offensive than anything ever imagined by network news it isn't even on the same planet.
