With no regulation, wealth concentrates among the few with power. In the 19th century the US legal system figured this out, and disallowed the highly collutive TRUST system which included Std oil. The 'free market' 'hate government' libertarians never can see that government regulation and rule of law enables everything that is great in this country. Everything every American touches in any given day is regulated. The rules are what make any game possible. Next time ask them about eliminating the speed limit and traffic lights. Now that's true freedom... and the resulting chaos is their dream society.
