Alexa,

<I even shared with her that I've obviously got some healthy transference going as I even imagine her dead, a REAL compliment I thought, but she wasn't even pleased. In fact she has gone so far as to suggest I see someone else.>

Interesting! I think I understand why she wanted you to see someone else.

In psychoanalysis, transference is the unconscious process in and by which an individual's feelings, thoughts, and wishes shift from one person to another. Since you are conscious of the process you describe in your post, you must therefore be a malinger.

What good psychoanalysis wouldn't recognize that a person malingering a negative transference is squandering their time and are probably just trying to be declared mentally disabled so they can draw disablility from the rest of us tax payers. And you know how much taxes a good psychoanalysis pays!

I must admit that I was impressed that you properly recongized that transference is usually between the patient and his or her analysis!

Corrections to post 4002:

Boy, I have to stop writing so late at night! Who knows I may need some therapy myself.

malinger should be malingerer
psychoanalysis should be psychoanalyst
analysis should be analyst

Maybe I should try sleeping at night!

Like you, Alexa, I admire Penni's poetry tremendously, and often imagine her dead. It makes me feel so loving and so much more appreciative of her (quondam) skills.

But I thought you wrote poetry too. Are you published? Could you publish some of your poems here?

What do you do? I'm sure you've told us, but I don't remember and since I live alone there's nobody I can ask. Maybe you write poetry? Penni writes poetry. Probably other people do, too, but I don't remember. I am so impressed by poetry, even when it's extremely bad.

Thank God! I have finally resolved the detergent problem! (Though I wish I knew what PE used yesterday to do three loads of wash when there wasn't any.) I bought more! But I am not sure I will like this brand! Only time will tell <ggg>.

Now I am having problems with my pepper grinder. Should I buy a new one? What do you think might be the cause of the problems? What kind of pepper grinder do you prefer?

>> I respect you so much that I often imagine you dead, too.

You know, Sociopathic 'Lexa, have you and Penni considered joining me at the Postal Service? You two seem to be gifted with a natural talent. Scary.
