Another reason to hope the election isn't close, to see the deliberate demonization of not so radical people get rejected by moderate voters. Whatever happens, I'm sure that lots of people will claim it as a ratification of their favorite insightful rationale but it will be mostly projection. We are unlikely to know how big a factor any of the was. And it's unlikely that any one factor was THE deciding one.

What's with the electronic voting system that cannot be audited ? I thought after the fiasco of 2000, the greatest democracy and technology leader in the world would have come up with a system that was foolproof and defensible.. We are talking a pathetic and typical IT system here even if the user interface is supposed to be friendly and customized from district to district.. In some ways, less complicated then your POS Terminal.. Is this standardized across the country or is it different state by state.. Just curious..
