Do you really believe the anal compulsive Obama campaign did not vet them thoroughly? a) It's almost guaranteed that some of those families have skeletons in their closet that would undermine their "Woe is me" story. b) I don't think any citizen should have to be "vetted" before he or she can actively participate in politics. It's one thing to assassinate the character of a politician, but it's yet another to do the same toward a regular citizen.
