Party members vote with their leaders...or you get punished. Will he be enough of a change to satisfy many? No. Will he be his own man and operate accordingly, yes. This is just an argument...if you use it with Obama voting with Pelosi, then we have more of the same too...but you are willing to believe he is his own man and not just more of Pelosi. But, this is how the partisan game is played. It distracts voters from the facts and it works very well.
