Filled up at a Costco in South San Francisco yesterday for $2.40 a gal. I was astounded when I saw it was $3.03 about a week earlier.

I've seen as low as 1.89 here in Houston but that's in a gas war zone....I work down the street from this:

Inside the loop you can still find company-operated Shell and Exxon stations where the price is still around 2.59...and their pumps are mostly idle.
