Looks like PA and VA are the early key states; if Obama wins both and has IA in the bag, game over. If McCain can eke out PA then FL and OH come into play, plus how many other ex-red states go his way.

But McCain pretty much has to take PA and limit Obama to IA and a couple of other western states, and run the table himself in everything else. As one Obama strategist put it yesterday, "I'd rather be us than them."

Intrade: Obama 88.8, McCain 11.5

Obama back to all time high. This is probably an indication he retains a substantial lead so close to the election, even though the lead may be narrowing. This is also reflected in the slight narrowing of his electoral college lead.
