We live in a Republic. This fact was intended to insure individual rights, particularly the right to the product of our own work (i.e. money) despite the will of the crowd, the Democracy, and the Government, first and foremost. THAT I WANT first and foremost.

Ayn Rand wrote a book titled "The Virtue of Selfishness." Not surprisingly, it is essentially a compassionate work with a compassionate message. That's why "Virtue" appears in the title, and it is not easily dismissed.

Dude... haven't you been reading his posts? He's got a better answer to EVERYTHING! Every nutcase, sociopathic libertarian comes with a mirror in front of them... "individual freedom" then is always reflected as "as I see it".

In other words everyone should do as they want exactly the way I tell them to!
