They were brought up in a conversation concerning the question of what is the definition of a free market. OK you tell me, what are some free, meaning unregulated markets.

John, Government built Highways weren't my concern. They were brought up in a conversation concerning the question of what is the definition of a free market. In response I've noted that their existence isn't the product of free markets, nor do they operate as one. This should make some bit of a case for those of you who don't get the value I place in Free Markets for the people, and you should be glad then, that I've said it a couple of times now! The point is that the US has never been a free market by your definition. Its an illusion perpetrated by the right. Its always been a mix of capitalism and socialism.........more capitalism to be sure.
