The Republicans were scrambling for a last minute candidate when so many were washed away during the primaries. McCain won by default, with total disregard for his policies or his track record. Even his campaign was written off early on.

So he's in there only to carry the torch. Or more specifically, to unlock the door for an even worse choice, Palin. And her supporters are the most extreme and scary. Their number one reason to garner control is to do God's work. I've had to replace Obama signs twice so far-both taken in broad daylight. God told them to remove the signs, so they are protected during this mission.

At least Obama offers some much needed fresh perspectives, some youthful and potentially innovative approaches, and a more diverse entourage.

clinton was quite effective at campaigning, why not use his resources? candidates necessarily indulge in vote-getting comments. obama is his past record, the rest is speculative noise. imho.
