It is certainly very different to see Obama go to these folks in areas where he has been written off. His doing so gives people the opportunity to see him up close as their next President. I guess this is what Barack means by reaching out.

Its also thinking outside the box. Until Dean came along, Dems had their states and GOPers had their's. Dean knocked that premise on its ass and Obama has run with it. Consequently, VA, NC, IN, NV and CO may be his......maybe even GA.
