Yes, tonto, I've had quite a journey in thinking since then. As you correctly point out, my posts back then reflected my full support of the Republican Party and Bush at that time. Remember, I did vote for Bush in 2000, thinking I'd get a reprise of his father, and perhaps Reagan. However, that didn't happen and I've lost my faith in the Republican Party since then. One thing I can't countenance is incompetence. Another thing I despise is fiscal irresponsibility. This administration has known no bar too low. I still wish Bush had been able to get social security privatized, though. That is something I am still diametrically opposed to the Dem position on.
