Posted the "spiral of silence" article at another website and received this reply: >interesting stuff by francis45, 11/1/08 Re: Voters Silent Spiral also the absolute deluge of NEW polls this year is specifically designed to skew and shape opinion. some people have gotten themselves so hyped up for an Obama win that they will have a huge disappointment on Tuesday night. I have always thought we have been propagandized by a large part of the media but this has been the largest piece of propaganda in the history of this country which is the huge lead in certain polls and the large difference in positive news stories between Obama and McCain. Of course Obama has the advantage in the number of positive news stories. not a surprise, if there was any doubt, we can now be sure that honest Journalism is for the most part dead.<
