McCain was funny on "Saturday Night Live," though I didn't get to see it all because Texas and Texas Tech were playing the best football game of the year on another network and my dinner date was asking why I had the t.v. on at all.

The part of the skit where Sarah Palin steps to the side and tries to sell "Palin 2012" t-shirts was great. Especially after the real life rally she had where all the signs said Palin on them, and none had the name McCain.

Most of Ben Affleck's skewering of Keith Olberman was not funny, but the opening bit was. He asked a contributor if McCain was a Nazi, and the guy said that was outrageous. Keith replied, "yes, I am courageous."
