Well, we can practically say that politics was one of the most important factors in getting us into the housing bubble in the first place and politics is also lengthening and worsening the aftereffects of the burst bubble.

Also, gas prices are a key factor in the sustainability of the suburban and exurban lifestyle into which we have built ourselves in this country.

So discussing politics and gas prices may seem tangential to the real estate crash but they do have relevancy to the subject matter.

Since you have been here for almost all of 2 months now, with your free posting privileges, I can see how you would be very disappointed.

Thanks for the admonishment. Maybe next week or so, it won't be such a drag for you, since there are some events scheduled that should address your complaint.
