Buy the Foxhound.

However...

Don't buy it from a pet store and get one of the first picks from the litter.

Don't buy any pet without seeing at least one parent, preferably the bitch. Don't worry about getting a royal pedigree. Make sure the parent is good natured and has good skin.

Bad skin, flea allergies and the like can happen with inbreeding.

You can get a great Foxhound, just shop wisely. Buying a dog is a lot like buying a car, just don't let the emotion of the moment take over.
