If that's true, then you must be able to name the years in which Reagan offered seriously reduced budgets only to have them rejected by Congress.

Also, you must have an entire list of Vetoes that Reagan issued on budgets only to be overridden by Congress.

It was Gorbachev, NOT Reagan that busted up the Soviet Union.

If the Soviets were SO worried about our military buildup, then they certainly wouldn't have given up strategic control of most of their empire.

And WHAT "peace dividend" are you talking about? Did the U.S. suddenly cut its defense budget by 75%, 50%, 33% or even 25% after the Soviet Union dissolved?
