Obama Economics applied to Halloween: No Treats For Obama Supporters By Noel Sheppard, November 2, 2008 For your Sunday entertainment pleasure, a woman in a Detroit suburb on Halloween refused to give candy to trick or treaters that didn't support McCain. This reminds me of what a friend of mine told me he was going to do. On his front stoop, he was going to have two large baskets: one empty, the other full of candy. Above the empty basket, he was going to place a sign reading, "If you're an Obama supporter, please leave candy here for future redistribution." Over the full basket, he was going to place a sign stating, "If you're a McCain supporter, please take as much as you think you've earned."
