It's because you are a Democrat without a functional brain, dear. Lindy is probably wise to just pull up the drawbridge at this point, regardless of the level of the affront. It appears the thread is now moving from denial into anger in the grief stages as the polls aren't moving enough and O is looming ominously in their rear view mirror. It won't be pretty and it will be painful. Think how we would feel here. I don't think the Dems are relaxing at all, though. The Reps we had lunch with said flatly that they expected a landslide for Obama. They come from Ohio. And both Dan and I knocked on the table. Will believe it on Nov. 5.
