The polls in 2004 were almost exactly right, except in exit polls in Ohio which showed (acurately) that Kerry had narrowly won the state and the election. Then at the end of the day, 110,000 Ohio Kerry votes vanished and the results were switched. That is how Bush got re-elected.

Some 50,000 Kerry provisional votes were also not counted in Ohio and all physical and computer evidence was destroyed by the GOP shortly after the election.

The last time I looked, the polls show Obama with a commanding lead, more than the Rovians will be able to cheat their way out of, especially since they only control half the state houses necessary. So it looks like President Obama is a near certainty.
