We have our differences, but I have no doubt that Obama will be as aggressive as anyone in protecting our nation. I'm not sure Islamic radicals are as thrilled about Obama as some would believe - their leaders know better. It will be harder for them to keep stoking the fires of hate, harder to keep recruiting, harder to get financial support if the Muslim world believes an Obama election portends a change in American policy. I don't see a substantial change in policy as it is evolving. Bush has already signaled a willingness to initiate lower level talks with Iran. Petraeus I think mentioned the need to talk with some elements of the Taliban. These will go forward.
