A Springsteen in every iPod!

Mark Steyn
The Corner

Poverty redefined. Barack Obama speaking in Cleveland today:

If you got a little money in your pocket, that means . . .
you can get on iTunes and get the latest Bruce Springsteen
tune.

It's a start, but wouldn't it be fairer to nationalize Bruce Springsteen? And get him to make house calls. Or, if not him personally, then maybe thousands of HHS bureaucrats could be trained up to stand on your doorstep and perform Bruce's arrangement of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town".

So let me see if I follow the latest version of spreading the wealth: Joe the Plumber gets taxed to give money to people who don't pay federal taxes so they can get on iTunes and pay royalties to Bruce Springsteen so he'll have more time and money to donate to getting Obama re-elected to tax Joe the Plumber even more...
