Last of the Culture Warriors By Peter Beinart I think this is a premature piece. Much depends on how Obama governs. But even more depends on whether the culture war gets wrapped, effectively, into a quasi class war, one in which the sections/classes of the country tied more tightly in positive ways to the emerging global economy are at political odds with ones tied negatively. You can see that theme as an emergent one in the Palin campaign. The Canadian piece by a writer named Florida laid this out in discouraging ways.
