I wish that was the case, but I seriously doubt it. As was the case with Clinton, most screw-ups will be written off or blamed on the republicans.

Not surprising though, if the conservatives controlled the media they would do the same thing.

I really do believe that the republicans and democrats are just different sides of the same tarnished coin. Neither party gives a damn about the U.S. Constitution anymore. I truly do think we are a generation from a tyranny of the masses.

I think that Obama is going to win tomorrow and the media will herald it as the second coming of christ and the rest of the world will rejoice because he is pretty much a U.S. Apologist rather than Advocate. And the liberals will be happy because what is most important is the approval of the tres chic euros and mideast oppressed...cuz in the end, most americans just want to be liked and seen as being enlightened. Who gives a crap if you have to give up reality to get there.

But, the Republicans deserve this loss IMO. Catering to the religious right is costing them the fiscal conservatives who have a social agenda that is more toward the center.

In keeping with my historical trend for voting for the guy who doesn't win, I still can't vote for Obama. It just kills me that I am voting against someone and not for someone. Perhaps that is the thing that the liberals have over the conservatives.
